Mark Goodwin is a poet-sound-artist. He received a substantial Grant for the arts from Arts Council England in 2013, to develop sound-enhanced poetry. Since 2010 Mark has been collecting digitally produced sound-&-poetry from around the world via his SoundCloud group Air to Hear. In April 2014, Mark and Longbarrow Press put on an international exhibition of sound-enhanced poetry focusing on place and soundscape, installed in Leicester’s Cube Gallery (at The Phoenix), and called Poems, Places & Soundscapes. Mark’s books and pamphlets are published by: Knives Forks and Spoons Press, Longbarrow Press, Nine Arches Press, and Shearsman Books.
