Currently based in Dallas, Tx, Ryan Cockerham is a composer/performer of contemporary art music and a designer of immersive sound and media installations.
Recent projects have included the premiere of “Entrada A La Madera,” a clarinet concerto written for Paul Garner and the New Philharmonic of Irving Orchestra, collaborations with Tamarin Stott and the English National Ballet, Rob Olins and the Royal British Society of Sculptors, the premiere of “Clarity of Purpose” as part of the Fulbright Chamber Music Series at the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, as well as performances and premieres across the UK. Upcoming projects include “Binary” a triple concerto for violin, cello and piano, commissioned by the Northeast Orchestra, a new one-act ballet with UK choreographer Jonathan Watkins and Texas Ballet Theater, as well as a new collaboration with Rob Olins at Fascinate 2014 in Falmouth, Cornwall.
